COMMUNITY SERVICE

Temple Shaarey Zedek is committed to fostering a feeling of Community throughout the Buffalo area. In this regard, Temple Shaarey Zedek endorses, encourages, and even sponsors many community functions, events, and educational opportunities that occur throughout the year. In addition, it is well-known throughout the community that our members are extremely active and offer their individual support of these various programs, as well. Some of the community events and functions include: annual Yom HaAtzmaut and Yom Hashoa observances, Jewish Book Fair, Jewish Film Festivals, Jewish Federation of Buffalo Fund Raising Support (to include telephone volunteers for Super Sunday and Operation Exodus), largest support for Israel Bonds, WNY, and much more.

Additionally, many of our members support subsidiary organizations in the community, such as Hadassah and B’nai B’rith.
