FACILITIES

Our full service facility and staff are available for a wide variety of uses and functions:

Our Andrew Paull Eisen Sanctuary (video) can comfortably seat over 300 people and is used for all “regular” services. Its design and stained glass windows offer a truly uplifting spiritual experience. Complete with large entrances, we are also wheelchair accessible for the disabled.

The Religious School is the pride and joy of Temple Shaarey Zedek. It has 12 classrooms and its walls are lined with Jewish artwork from our students.

Our large Lippa Family Auditorium can accommodate up to 500 people and can be used for Bar or Bat Mitzvot receptions, Wedding receptions (Bridal Room also available), Lectures, Seminars, Dances, and other social events. Combined with our own Kosher Catering Services, there is no better place in Buffalo to entertain a large group of people.
In addition, our auditorium accommodates our entire membership for High Holy Day services.

The Sara Brooks Judaica Gift Shop has a complete line of Judaica items from Talitot to Tefillin, Kippot to Kiddush Cups, Song books to Seder Plates, and Menorot to Mezuzot. It’s the perfect place to pick out a meaningful gift for the people you care about most.

The Rabbi Isaac Klein Memorial Library features a diverse selection of reading materials. Included are books about Judaism and Jewish customs and a wide variety of books by Jewish authors.

The recently remodeled Kassirer Minyan Chapel is where we hold our daily minyan. It is also the location of our Junior Congregation and Katan Time. It can comfortably seat 35 people.

The redecorated Dozoretz Family Lounge and its “Wall of Jerusalem” is used as a casual meeting area as well as for cocktail and dessert receptions. It’s also the perfect place for schmoozing with your friends.

Our fully equipped Kitchen, completely kosher, has full service capabilities, including a walk-in refrigerator and freezer. With approval, it is available to all groups for all types of food preparation. For instance, our PTA makes Hammantashen every year with the students for Purim.

We construct a large Succah every year. It can be seen from as far away as the Youngmann expressway. We typically have a Family Shabbat Dinner in the Succah, in addition to holding religious school functions and classes as an educational experience.
